Our reception couldn’t have been more perfect. People walking out the door were raving to the people walking in about how good the food was, and we even had some skip the line to go straight to the food. The atmosphere was fabulous, and the presentation and flavors were all over the top. Everyone loved the crêpe chef, Roger. He kept telling people “Welcome to Paris” or “Hope you have a wonderful time in Paris.” People loved him and thought he added so much to the atmosphere.
I heard comments on everything. Everyone loved the waiters coming around passing plates of food. They all loved the Eiffel tower fountain. They thought the jumbo shrimp were the best shrimp they had ever had, and several said their favorite thing was the mini chocolate cake. Even adults commented on how fun the cookies and milk were and the macaroons on the Eiffel tower. It was so over the top! And we wouldn’t have changed a thing.
Our guests were just blown away by the service and continued eating long into the night. Many commented how wonderful it was that the food was still out and that our reception feel like a real party. Keri was very attentive and made sure there were always food and drinks out. I would have loved to be a fly on the kitchen wall just to watch how it was all orchestrated, and I did stick my head in the kitchen a couple of times. All of the staff were so adorable that I gave them their ties to keep.
